We’re also developing a new set of statistics to collect on the way you use synonyms which is going to improve synonym selections as well as introducing multilingual funtionality to the user thesaurus.

There will also be some new features, and the best thing about this upgrade is that adding features if going to require less than half of the development time than they currently do.

We have about 10 more languages ready for conversion into the SpinChimp format, so you will see these appear very soon.

If you aren’t familiar with the cloud thesaurus, based on your usage statistics, the thesaurus learns which synonyms are better than others to only replace the best synonyms. This adds incredible power to the synonym replacement algorithm.

There are also complete seed thesauri for German, Spanish and French. The French and German variants are based off open thesauri, while the Spanish has been built up over years by one of our great users, making it the best Spanish thesaurus in the spinner world!

So, SpinChimp is now not only the most valuable content spinner on the planet, but it is now a German spinner, a Spanish spinner and a French spinner!

Note: (Pro Only) After updating to this version, existing project dictionaries will no longer work. They will need to be detached then reopened from the CSV file. Sorry for the inconvenience, however this change was needed to allow downloadable thesauri (see below).

New features:

• Global Spin now uses common favorites when spinning. A common favorite is a synonym that has been selected as favorite by multiple users. This results in a higher spin percentage when using Global Spin.
• (Pro Only) Added new feature allowing project thesauri to be downloaded from the SpinChimp servers. Current thesauri include French, German and Spanish. This feature will automatically detect new thesauri as they are added to the server. See below for more details.

Minor changes:

• Added option to Global Spin to allow spinning within HTML tags.
• Added option to Global Spin to spin using local thesaurus.
• (Pro Only) Added option to Global Spin to spin using extended (project attached) thesauri.
• (Pro Only) Added option to Global Spin to automatically run the Spin Tidy algorithm after spinning. Spin Tidy fixes grammatical errors and removes redundant words and synonyms.
• (Pro Only) Bulk Spin now uses Global Spin options when spinning. Previously, Bulk Spin used to use best options resulting in highly readable content however the spin % was low.
• (Pro Only) Added option to Bulk Spin allowing Instant Unique to be applied during the Bulk Spin process.
• (Pro Only) Added ability to export local thesaurus synonyms, favorites and hated words.

Bug fixes:

• (Pro Only) Anchor tags were sometimes broken when viewing spin in non-jet spin and non-plain text profiles.
• A bug in the previous version incorrectly added sentences to the local thesaurus when using Rapid Spin.
• Rating up and down of synonym uses has been improved resulting in ever better weightings in the future. Rating now also applies to Rapid Spin and Content spin.

The update is not mandatory however it is HIGHLY recommended that this update be applied as soon as possible to avoid possible loss of work.

Downloadable Thesauri (Pro Only)

This new feature allows thesauri to be downloaded and attached to a project. To use, follow these steps:

• Select the “Project” tab and press the “Select” button
• In the “Select Active Project” popup, select the “Download Dictionary” button.
• In the “Thesauri Download Helper” popup, select the required dictionary from the Dictionary pulldown and press the “Download” button.

The above actions will download the dictionary and attach it the current project. The dictionary is downloaded into the standard Dictionary directory, so it can be easily attached to other projects using the standard “Add dictionary” button.

You guys have been asking us to get SpinChimp integrated with some other software and services so that you can get the most out of your subscriptions. Well, we have some exciting news.

As of this week, the newest version of WPRobot fully supports the SpinChimp API. WPRobot is easily the most powerful autoblogging platform that we here at AkturaTech have used.

Before the Chimp came along and decided to completely take over our lives, we did a lot of SEO stuff and built our own blogs for fun and profit. We’ve got autoblogs based entirely on WPRobot which have been happily plodding along and generating income for over a year and a half without being touched. Maybe they would be making more if we had some time to spend on them, but the fact remains that everything we buy from Amazon is free because of our affiliate credit

You need an API key to integrate with WPRobot. If you are a SpinChimp Pro user, you can get set up with an API key by going to user management and hitting the ‘Get Key’ link in the API section.

Just FYI, we are in the process of getting some other big players on board as well. If you have something you would like to integrate with SpinChimp, let us know through the ticket system. Don’t forget to ask the developers of other software to integrate with us, as most people will try to make their customers happy.

New features:

• Spin Tidy (Pro only): Available via the Tools menu, this new feature will automatically parse a document containing spin syntax and perform cleanup activities such as removing redundant words within spin and moving “a” and “an” from outside spin into spin to ensure the resulting spin is grammatically correct. All cleanup activities can be viewed within the System Log after running this function. Any bets on how long it will take others to copy this feature? By the way, we are normally the first to include numerous features that find their way into other spinners. See here for details.
• Better text file support: SpinChimp now includes advanced functionality developed for web browsers to assist in determining text file codepage and type. This new feature allows you to load any text file (ASCII, UTF8, UTF16BE, UTF16LE, UTF32, CodePage 1251 and CodePage 1252) into the editor. This feature is extended in the Pro version allowing any text file type to be used when importing synonyms, protected words and so on.
• Bulk spin improvements (Pro only): Bulk spin options now include spinning into a single directory and spinning profiles into a single file using a user defined break code. For example, it is now possible to spin a number of variations of a document into a single file, separated by the phrase “#BREAK#”.

Minor changes:

• Grammar checking enhancements (Pro only): Grammar checking can now be performed from within the Spin and Original views.
• Spin View enhancements (Pro only): Spin modification from within Spin View has been enhanced to color modified spin elements. Existing Spin View code has also been rewritten to be more robust and speed has been greatly improved.
• User added dictionary enhancements (Pro only): User added project dictionaries can now include unicode and codepage text.
• Extremely large file support: Extremely large files are now supported within the editor. All calculations such as Spin%, LSI% (Pro only), text statistics and colouring are now performed within a background task.

Bug fixes:

• Spin as new document: Fixed possible crash that may be caused by this operation.
• Spin view copy all: Fixed possible crash that may be caused by this operation.

The update is not mandatory however it is HIGHLY recommended that this update be applied as soon as possible to avoid possible loss of work.

New Features:

• Instant unique uses character substitution to instantly pass copyscape duplication test. Available via Tools -> Instant Unique.
• Grammar check using After The Deadline. Available via Write -> Check Grammar.
• Tip Creater can be used to create unique articles quickly. To use, create heaps of tips (one per line), highlight them, then select Tools -> Tip Creator.
• User thesauruses can now be attached to individual projects.This feature supports very large user thesauruses. Multiple user thesauruses can be attached to a single project. Available via Projects -> Select project.
• Snippet feature adds reusable code to the right click context menu. Code can be anything (anchors, titles, common phrase etc) and is also project specific. Available via Tools -> Snippets.

Spin View Changes:

• Spun words in spin view are now underlined. To use, create or load a document containing Spintax and click Write -> SpinView and note the squiggly underlines.
• It is now possible to edit within spin view. To use, create or load a document containing Spintax and click Write -> SpinView and click on a spun word and then spin Quick Spin, Sentence Spin or Paragraph Spin.
• New right click option in Spin View called “Locate in Editor”. This positions the cursor at the spin within the editor and switches back to editor view.

Spinning Chages:

• Spin -> “Spin As New Doc” – Spins a document containing Spintax and places the result in a new tab.
• Spin -> “Spin & Compare” – Spins 10 copies of the current document and opens the result in the compare window.
• Compare window now allows direct editing of each spin version from within the window.
• Compare window now includes longest common subsequence highlighting for highlighting matching words. Select Spin -> “Spin & Compare” and hover over the help icon for detailed instructions.
• It is now possible to save individual spins from within the compare window.

Minor changes:

• Reworked tab layout to be more intuitive.
• Helper windows are now available for all complicated and option rich features. Includes Global Spin, Copyscape, Instant Unique and OneClick Rewrite. To use, simply click one of the aforementioned features and the helper window will display.
• SpinChimp can now load UTF, Unicode and ASCII text files (as well as CHIMP and .DOC files)
• All forms now have a Help icon. Hovering over the help icon will provide detailed help for the form.

Bug fixes:

• Unicode now fully supported.
• Fixed HTML conversion bug causing WordPress submission to fail.
• Spinning now spins between HTML tags.
• OnceClick rewrite can now be undone.
• Text including HTML tags is now more stable when coloring and spinning.
• Fixed the sentence and word cutoff bug.
• Many minor bug fixes.
