If you’ve been trying to log in to user management or download a thesaurus, you may have noticed some errors in the last few hours. Our hosting company had performed some server upgrades and accidentally broke some of the SpinChimp services.
Thanks to everyone who brought this to our attention. We’ve brought everything back online and it is all good to go!

Ok so it’s been a while since you’ve heard from us. Never fear, we have not disappeared. Instead, we are slaving away working on a new version of SpinChimp that is going to see some massive improvements over the previous versions. We’re talking even more speed and support for massive files. So far we’ve tested 300k words and it runs without a hiccup.
We’re also developing a new set of statistics to collect on the way you use synonyms which is going to improve synonym selections as well as introducing multilingual funtionality to the user thesaurus.
There will also be some new features, and the best thing about this upgrade is that adding features if going to require less than half of the development time than they currently do.

This is one very brief announcement. There is now a default Italian thesaurus built into SpinChimp Pro. The instructions on how to get your new thesaurus can be found on this post.
We have about 10 more languages ready for conversion into the SpinChimp format, so you will see these appear very soon.
Recently a SpinChimp user posted on a popular internet marketing forum (BlackHatWorld) about his experience of using SpinChimp Pro and one of our competitors.

SpinChimp fully supports any langauge supported by the UTF8 character encoding. This means that languages like Spanish, French, German and Portugese are supported. You can add your own synonyms, import or export them and set favorites. These langauges are also synchronized to the server just like the English user based thesaurus.
If you aren’t familiar with the cloud thesaurus, based on your usage statistics, the thesaurus learns which synonyms are better than others to only replace the best synonyms. This adds incredible power to the synonym replacement algorithm.
There are also complete seed thesauri for German, Spanish and French. The French and German variants are based off open thesauri, while the Spanish has been built up over years by one of our great users, making it the best Spanish thesaurus in the spinner world!
So, SpinChimp is now not only the most valuable content spinner on the planet, but it is now a German spinner, a Spanish spinner and a French spinner!

A minor update has been released for SpinChimp. The update adds several minor new features, fixes usability issues and addresses reported bugs.
Note: (Pro Only) After updating to this version, existing project dictionaries will no longer work. They will need to be detached then reopened from the CSV file. Sorry for the inconvenience, however this change was needed to allow downloadable thesauri (see below).

Downloadable Thesauri (Pro Only)
This new feature allows thesauri to be downloaded and attached to a project. To use, follow these steps:
The above actions will download the dictionary and attach it the current project. The dictionary is downloaded into the standard Dictionary directory, so it can be easily attached to other projects using the standard “Add dictionary” button.
You guys have been asking us to get SpinChimp integrated with some other software and services so that you can get the most out of your subscriptions. Well, we have some exciting news.
As of this week, the newest version of WPRobot fully supports the SpinChimp API. WPRobot is easily the most powerful autoblogging platform that we here at AkturaTech have used.
Before the Chimp came along and decided to completely take over our lives, we did a lot of SEO stuff and built our own blogs for fun and profit. We’ve got autoblogs based entirely on WPRobot which have been happily plodding along and generating income for over a year and a half without being touched. Maybe they would be making more if we had some time to spend on them, but the fact remains that everything we buy from Amazon is free because of our affiliate credit

You need an API key to integrate with WPRobot. If you are a SpinChimp Pro user, you can get set up with an API key by going to user management and hitting the ‘Get Key’ link in the API section.
Just FYI, we are in the process of getting some other big players on board as well. If you have something you would like to integrate with SpinChimp, let us know through the ticket system. Don’t forget to ask the developers of other software to integrate with us, as most people will try to make their customers happy.
